Anyway, I watched this maybe 15 years ago and probably felt it was cool and generically anti-establishment, but in hindsight the queer, trans, anti-capitalist bent is so incredibly blunt and clear. Yeah, it's not great in some respects and its critique is mired in 1990s young white-collar professional sensibilities (and stylistically the CGI is a mix between “decent” and “Men in Black II”), but it's still a banger.
