Casino Royale (2006)

Just… different, and punchy, and brutal. The directors aren't afraid to get stylised and also ditched the mediocre CGI of the last Brosnan film. Finally, it's got that denouement exploring what happens after the typical Bond film ends and he gets the girl. Playing with the fossilised Bond pattern like that really helps it stand out (plus, unlike all the other Daniel Craig films, this one has no prior continuity tying it down). And then they kill her for his character development.
