Cemetery of Splendour (2015)

Ooh what a film! I loved how matter-of-fact the low-key otherworldly(?) elements are presented—Weerasethakul doesn't waste time dithering on uncertainty. Life lessons: 1) Don't sleep in the cemetery school hospital, you'll get drafted into the dead king dream war. 2) Hang out at the dino park with other dead things. 3) All things are the sum total of their history and potential, layer by layer backwards and forwards in helices. Cinema is good, actually!
