How it starts: camera on a billboard of a white suburban American patriarch insisting “I AM AN AMERICAN”, then shift to our protagonist—an Indian woman and inner-city bounty hunter—catching a white guy gun-runner who resembles the billboard stereotype. How it ends: said Indian woman bounty hunter has a moment of explicit USAmerican bootstraps where she insists on standing on her own two feet with a serious gunshot wound. Not that there's a strict contradiction there, I just think it's funny how the series slides. Otherwise, same as Riding Bean: it's fun and smooth, the animation (mostly) and sountrack are great, and there's something twisted for the yuri girlies (evil stone butch contract killer) and something else for the kunōjoshi (pathetic scruffy ATF agent).
