Ouff. A strong conspiracy thriller shot through with a very well drawn sci-fi caricature of how private medicine and the gig economy inflict suffering and alienation. It never quite rises to great heights, but it's good! Unfortunately, the directors didn't stick the landing. The film ends with a final twist, except it's just another piece of that admittedly well-done caricature. It changes nothing. It's like they cut the story 5–10 minutes too early—almost every important question is left hanging with no suggested answers. The film isn't open-ended, supporting multiple interpretations—it just has no ending.
