Lupin III: From Siberia with Love (1992)

How do we make a TV special last five times as long as a regular episode? By playing all the action shots five times over. By playing all the action shots five times over. By playing all the action shots… A dull echo of better parts from better Lupin stories. Mystery of Mamo, Castle of Cagliostro, Legend of the Gold of Babylon, even Part I—they're all here, reflected in a grease-smudged mirror. There's a few funny and interesting visuals, like the bulletproof glasses bit, Lupin delicately re-assembling his heist diorama, or Rasputon's frost-webbed temple, but for the most part this is mediocre at best.
