Lupin III: Goodbye Partner (2019)

A little less conversation, a little more action please. A little less obvious CGI shots of piano hands, too. Still, love it when Lupin and co. don't fuck around. The story has one or two solid twists among the obvious ones, though it's naive about finance and takes tech propaganda about AI, quantum computing, and cryptocurrency entirely at face value. Alright, whatever, that's just standard Hollywood ignorance—the real problem's that they don't have the guts to dwell on the the central conflict they set up between Jigen and everyone else.
