Lupin III: The Secret of Twilight Gemini (1996)

Legit the first time I've seen explicit homophobia as a major element of a Lupin story. They make up for it with the anti-colonial plot. At first it seems like a preachy good-peaceful-rebels vs evil-violent-rebels story, but it develops into something better in the final act, much like local character Lara.
