REC (2007)

I love how violently this film kicks into gear and how the (exaggeratedly) shitty mic and video quality amp up the terror. They make so much out of so little space, turning this old apartment building into a moody, baroque fragment. Unfortunately the characters act kinda stupid, increasingly in ways that don't make sense except for the convenience of the plot. Still, it's a fun time and accelerates madly towards its ending.
