Skyfall (2012)

A lotta vivid setpieces and arenas, but the finale's the best—a total inversion of the typical Bond climax. Instead of sneaking into a deadly high-tech fortress, Bond has to fortify his own low-tech refuge against enemy attack. Also, thematically, they do at least try to develop the idea of “necessary evil” decisions coming back to bite you in the ass in this and future films.
