The Forbidden Room (2015)

Canadarabian Nights, in which a parade of men selfishly do what they think women want and have their attempts overturned and destroyed, then retreat into delusions of adventure and grandeur. Simultaneously slow and fast, real and fake, nightmare and serene—all things are reunited in the belly of the beast. A real “Who the fuck is anyone anyway” movie and a paean to the dream-nature of cinema in specific and storytelling in general. The type of shit I would like to make. Here's hoping!!
