Ursa Minor Blue (1993)

An enchanting legend painted in a simple, yet exquisite colour palette. Echoes of The Little Prince, but lighter. I really liked the mixed gentleness and bluntness of it—the ease with which the characters move in their strange world—and just how easily the artists blend the sea and the stars (a common metaphor, but really brilliantly executed here). On a technical level, the motion of water is incredibly well drawn and gives such power to the creatures that live within it.
