World of Tomorrow episode 1 (2016)

Don Hertzfeldt's signature squiggly absurdity applied to future tech. It's full of sadly funny moments buoyed by the smart decision to make one of the two main characters an irrepressible young girl. The last is maybe the most beautiful, stupid and sincere: an adult trying to teach a child to appreciate the present and not get caught up in the past.
