Half-Life 2: Episode Two

“Highway 17” is one of my favourite parts of Half-Life 2 so it should come as no surprise that I like the episode where you spend half the time driving from place to place in a muscle car. Then there's the antlion defense setpiece with vortigaunt victory lap, a few solid arena combat setpieces, the series' first-ever vehicular combat arena in the White Forest defense setpiece… yeah, it's a lotta setpieces, Valve's streamlined their whole process. A bit condensed, but pretty varied and effective.
