The Aching

To be honest, I feel like text parser games aren't for me. If the writer doesn't write for a wide range of possible input words/phrases and practice strict editing you can end up stuck due to their moment-to-moment decisions about which words are valid inputs. The writers also unfortunately put their best stuff in optional, obtusely-hidden areas (a dream sequence and an unmarked cave). Overall, this game feels like a quick, expensive nostalgia trip for something I never experienced, leaving me in the cold.
