(Note: This game supposedly uses some “AI”-generated textures, but if so I'm giving it a pass since it was developed right at the tail end of the dream-froth era of image-generator models where their output was different from human work in a genuinely interesting way that the devs use to creative ends.)
Super Absurdism 64. The movement tech? Transformative. Every item changes how you see the space, organically opening and foreclosing paths. The environment? Brutal in its simplicity. It evokes similar feelings to the “dream playground” subgenre of early 3D platformers, like Super Mario 64, only with a warren of concrete brutalism. The collectables? Without purpose. However, the collectable-detector (found in the church) turns the game into a real navigational challenge—“how the hell do I get up there without the bat/pick/leafblower/etc.?” A game for people who can make their own fun.
