“Porklike but what if it was (a bit) forgiving.” The randomness is toned down, you get stat upgrades and more healing opportunities, enemy abilities are less overpowered (I'm thinking of the original's blinding scorpions here), there's a bit more clutter you can use to block enemies and control flow, and then there's the eponymous feature where you can collect and then spend ruby eyes to blow trumpets that temporarily raise your attack power. It's got a different kinda goofy-spooky charm to Porklike, and broadens the strict colour palette into a more flexible range that gets darker and more sinister the further you go.
