A beautiful puzzle game where you explore a vibrant island manipulating a set of energy beams to unlock more and more of the world in order to reach the island's summit. It's focused and compact, and obtuse in a fun way, while also having somewhat messy, complex graphics (including effects for reflections and lightning) and a charming lo-fi soundtrack that both make the world feel much more alive. The one sore point's the (slight spoilers) two very-hidden staircases on the upper edge of the main map---one leads to the trainers, which give a speed boost that makes the busywork in the middle of the game less tedious, and the other leads to a switch that's essential to finish the game.
