A grueling platformer with some serious issues, but I persevered. The tile graphics and simple, hostile music are great, and it's got an impressive sense of scale from just how small they made your character. The main challenge is fine---you need to destroy your own save points, forcing you to strategise and leave a viable trail back to safety---but god is it made a chore by other aspects of the game. For one thing, enemies can spawn inside you and you have next-to-no invincibility frames. For another, lava hazard hitboxes extend far beyond their graphics. The controls can suddenly get sluggish, and the mandatory long-jump mechanic goes unexplained (without enough flat, open space to discover it yourself by messing around). It all makes the challenge a bit annoying.
