A technically-impressive dungeon manager with some serious issues. The good first: the concept's fine and the music and graphics are solid. The bad? Your unit AI's incompetent and needs too much micro-management to keep up with the constant enemy invasions. The builder AI in particular works in a weird way. You don't pick builders and set tasks, you set tasks and all available builders go do it. This actually slows things down, because tasks can't start until all assigned builders arrive, and the solution is more micro-management. There's other issues, but the un-dandoori AI has me reeling the most. Overall: The ambition is impressive, but almost every mechanical part of the game is compromised by the strict limits of PICO-8. Unleashed from those... who knows?
